TARE, together with Hawaiʻi Wildlife Fund and other Kona-area partners, is hosting the first Kona Aquatics Conference — a two-day gathering for scientists, ocean and coastal stewards, and community members to share research, collaborate, and build connections around aquatic science on Hawaiʻi Island. The event will be held at the Ridge to Reef Center at the Natural Energy Lab, generously donated by Terraformation. Proceeds will help support ongoing research, education, and community-based management efforts led by local nonprofits, including TARE.
